Notifications are activated by default when you open up your panel for the first time using the security app. To change your preferences, open Panel Settings by tapping the gear icon on the top right of the Home (Area) screen. From here, navigate to Notification Subscriptions and switch on or off the notifications that you would like (or not) to receive.
